Brendan Rodgers is having an active and busy summer transfer window as he has already signed: Adam Bogdan, Nathaniel Clyne, Danny Ings and James Milner. These are just a few of the high-profile signings that have recently arrived to Anfield.
Even with all of these new signings, Brendan Rodgers still seems to be interested in adding more players to the team and Liverpool are now setting their sights on Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund.
Signing Marco Reus will be easier said than done as Real Madrid is also keeping a close eye on the German midfielder. Brendan Rodgers received an injection of cash of €49 million after having sold Raheem Sterling and this money might be used as a way to lure in Marco Reus to Anfield but it still remains uncertain if that cash will be enough to sign the 26 year old midfielder who has also attracted the attention of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Brendan Rodgers received a lot of hate from Liverpool fans after he decided to sell Luis Suarez and replaced him with a bunch of players who have done nothing except disappoint and Mario Balotelli commands that list, Rodgers still hasn’t appropriately found a player who can replace Luis Suarez but he is hoping that this gap will be filled in some way or another by signing Marco Reus and the English manager is prepared to spend big bucks in securing his services.
One of the things that Marco Reus has been struggling with is in relation to injuries as he was consistently injured in the past season and it was recently revealed that he had picked up yet another injury but despite all of his physical struggles, he still continues to be one of the most wanted players that is available to sign in the summer transfer window but he will only be signed if the price is right.
